dvd decrypter is no longer being updated and they are putting new copy protection on dvd's. I backed up Hustle and Flow with DVDShrink and AnyDVD with no problem. I would highly recommend you get AnyDVD. It is updated on a weekly basis and you get updates free once you purchase it. You can try it for free for 21 days. Just go to

An I/O error !! Never heard of that happening with DVD Shrink before.

what was the last thing you did before you got this error Try to be a little more articulate with your responces .Its difficult to diagnose an application error with such little information

Try using your event viewer to learn more about the error and try posting the log file

Shrink is able to handle this disc by it's lonesome. I used shrink (no any dvd running) and auto burned w/Nero.
If you getting an i/o I assuming it's from decrypter. If you get while trying to rip the disc - it's telling you the disc is either dirty, scratched or a bad press. Try cleaning it. If it's when your trying to burn w/ decrypter then the media you are using is more than likely the culprit.
What brand of discs are your using?
