I don't know why, but whenever I do it, I get that "windows explorer needs to close message" whenever I open ANY AVI file. Help would be appreciated, thanks.
what happens if you right click the AVI file and select play or play in media player ? have you tried different AVI files ? how do mp3 or other sound files play ? How is your PC running in general ?
What OS do you have ? are you updataed with all the service packs and security updates from MS ?
