I've had a Sony-brand dvd burner for about two months now and the last month or so when I burn my DVDs the same way as I always do (decrypter/shrink), they turn out with glitches in various spots of the movie. How do I resolve this issue? It never happened to my earlier DVDs. It's really beginning to bug me. Please help. I use Nero if that helps.

What brand of media are you burning to?

At what speed are you burning?

Are you using paper labels on your burnt DVD's?

A bit more information required.

Memorex are among the most unreliable brands of media available (very few members would recommend this brand) - try some Verbatim or TYs or Ritek.

Burning too fast will create problems - 4x recommended.
