I am trying to burn a back-up copy of Cry Wolf, but when I use DVD Shrink it starts the analysis and then stops, saying "Programing Error - Exception Occured". When I use DVD Decryptor, it creates a back-up on my computer, but then won't let me burn it. I also tried using Anydvd. No luck at all. Suggestions? Thanx!

Are you using the current version of AnyDVD, it was updated recently. Also if you have Nero Recode, try opening it with AnyDVD running in the background.

@Nixxy
I did this movie w/ anydvd version 5.7.3.1 and clonedvd. It does have invalid vobu's so shrink won't be able to handle it alone.
What happens when you try and burn it? Which prog are you using to encode & burn it?
You should be able to run the ripped file thru shrink then burn w/ decrypter.

No, I didn't have the newest version of AnyDVD, but I do now. It wouldn't even analyze for me thru shrink, but running thru decryptor, it would decrypt it, make a back-up file on my computer, but when I dropped the file into shrink, it wouldn't do it. It said something about programming errors. I don't have clone yet, but I am going to get it. Thanx for ur help guys. Really appreciate it.

A free app that should work with shrink would be dvdfab decrypter. Rip it with that then run it thru shrink. The last update of fab decrypter handled this problem with shrink.
But you can't go wrong w/ AnyDVD and CloneDVD. So far there's nothing out there that combo can't handle.
