hi i have aol broadband 512kbps with a bt voyager 105. when ever i sighn in to aol it freezes for like 2-5mins then its fine after. it also slows down my computer when im on the net. when i get out of aol and sighn of the computer runs much faster. is there any thing i can do and also is there any way to not use the aol sofware but still be connected to the internet??? plz help me

firstly run a spyware scan.

secondly cancel your subscription to AOL cuz they suck giant pigs testes and go with a more reliable service provider. you can get 2 meg from tiscali and 8 meg from telewest and wanadoo for the same price as 512 from AOL

also there is no way to connect to AOL without AOLs software
