Because VobBlanker is the one and only you'll need to bypass ARccOS or RipGuard smoothly. In addition, VobBlanker is FREE, powerful, can "blank" out any scenes that you don't want (ie fbi warning, unwanted previews, etc.), it can view/play, edit, cut, etc. (if you're an advanced user) and the BEST PART is that it can PROCESS and FILTER out "bad/fake cells/pgcs" that was encrypted/put on the dvd flawlessly.
Yes, VobBlanker will solve your misery, if you don't have the most current from AnyDVD. The simple fact I like about VobBlanker is that, you don't need to keep updates weekly just to handle ARccOS and RipGuard once new movies are out. You can update VobBlanker whenever there's a new version (more powerful and advanced) is out.
I highly recommend for anyone to get VobBlanker 2.1.0.0 (this is the latest version), and YES.... it can handle anything beautifully. Just so you know, I just backup those 2 movies that members in here called it "troubles/issues" aka "DARK WATER and WEDDING CRASHERS" easily with VobBlanker. I even blank out that annoying fbi warning sh!t, plus a few other craps/junks and bad/fake cells.

Most of the people that come to AD do not even do a search on how to do certain movies. They just post a question. If you had been at this Forum 1 1/2 years ago most the only help you would have gotten was " read the forum rules and have you done a search because the answer is there". If the person then stated he did a search of the threads here he or she was assisted. AD then asked the members to be a little more kind and bend alittle w/ the noobs. We did and this is what alkohol is trying to tell the people. If you do the movie this way it will work. He put alot of time in writing and I'll guarantee you all he does is cut and paste how to do it . That is alot quicker than having to re-type the sam thing over and over. He did the research and this forum thanks him for the hard work he does in helping the members here.
LOCOENG does a great service to this forum as he is on it daily. I have watched him come up through the ranks and his info is usually dead on.
You are only a Junior Member as you do not have many posts. You need to not try and get into a pissing contest w/ a member that outranks you as that will not endear you to the other members. My advice to you is to let it drop as everyone you had something to say back to outranks you in seniority and more than likely has more knowledge.
If someone wants to post I did Constant Gardner only using DVDD then why worry about it. They might be trying to get out of Junior status up to member status

You are right in mostly of what you wrote,but please dont think i am trying to get anyone pissed off.I know they put a lot into it.If you read my previous posts in other threads you will see how ive been directing people with simple answears to some of alkoho`s guides.I dont think i ever asked a question here on AD because all i ever needed is there and i always tried to search on google as well.Simple as that,just a search does a lot of a diference.I always try to help,But what gets me upset is why are people still going about my first post here as everyone read i apologised.And i dont care if people start a thread for something like this because latelly i`ve been across a few,even today,and i didnt post anything as i know i shouldnt have in here and that i was probably wrong.I just dont want to carry on with this thing.What do i need to do instead of apologising as i did?

I actually think these topics are good - sometimes you just don't wanna waste time trying different things....
I also agree that there should only be on post per movie(not like madagascar, stealth, bewitched, etc.....)

I dont know what could be wrong because it works to me flawlessly.Any dvd is suposed to remove anything(protections)made so far.Do you have the latest version of AnyDVD? Its version 5.8.2.1 .If you dont have this version update it going here http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html .I think it should work.Even fabdecrypter should do it by itself.If you need it get it from here DVDIdle.com/free.htm" class="korostus" target="_blank">http://www.DVDIdle.com/free.htm . read here what AnyDVD does http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html .If you still cant do it use fabdecrypter and AnyDVD together.

**NOTE: if you have tried AnyDVD and it has failed to backup the movie for you only.
Here's what you need to do in order to successfully bypass them fake/bad cells, pgcs, sectors or protections.
<><><> TOOLS NEEDED <><><>
DVDFAB Decrypter version 2.9.6.8, here http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0
VobBlanker version 2.1.0.0, here http://members.aol.com/posunplugged/jsoto/VobBlanker_2100_exe.zip
That is the latest version from VobBlanker 2.1.0.0 (this version is more advanced, more stronger to handle ARccOS and RipGuard or any fake/bad cells/pgcs/sectors). In addition, it has a built in video screen, so you can just simply click on any VTS_XX_*.VOB or PGCs and "blank" them, if it's nothing related to the movie (or movie file) whatsoever.
However, if you don't know what/how to "blank" that annoying fbi warning, unwanted scenes, preview/trailers, etc., then all you need to do is click on PROCESS, but for now let's follow the simple steps below:
**NOTE: before proceed with the following steps, go to your hard drive and do this: for example only, if "Lord Of War" is the movie you're trying to rip and backup; (A) create a folder in your hard drive call LORD OF WAR and a sub-folder name VIDEO_TS and EXIT out. (B) Now create another folder name NEW LORD OF WAR and a sub-folder VIDEO_TS and EXIT out.
***** here comes the fun part *****
<><><><><> STEP 1 <><><><><>
<><> rip the movie with DVD Decrypter via MODE, File F to your hard drive. *NOTE: (MAKE SURE you set your "destination" to LORD OF WAR, VIDEO_TS folder in your hard drive).
<><> or rip the movie with DVDFAB Decrypter 2.9.6.8 to your hard drive. *NOTE: (MAKE SURE you set your "destination" to LORD OF WAR, VIDEO_TS folder in your hard drive).
<><> sit tight, relax until it's successfully ripped the movie into your hard drive. Now, you can close DVD Decrypter or DVDFAB Decrypter (whichever you're using).
<><><><><> STEP 2 <><><><><>
<><> open up VobBlanker version 2.1.0.0
<><> set "your input" <====== (browse to hard drive) this is your source aka LORD OF WAR, VIDEO_TS folder that you've ripped with DVDFAB Decrypter or DVD Decrypter via Mode, File F earlier.
<><> set "your output" <===== (browse to hard drive) this is your NEW LORD OF WAR, VIDEO_TS folder. **NOTE: once VobBlanker is completed, you will have to "encode/transcode" this with either DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2 (your choice).
<><> now click PROCESS (that's it... sit back and relax until VobBlanker process and filter out any encrypted protections (ie bad/fake cells, pgcs, sectors, etc.) VobBlanker should take anywhere from 5 - 10 minutes depending on how big is the movie files. Close/Exit VobBlanker when it's done.
<><><><><> STEP 3 <><><><><>
<><> now import your new/clean/fresh NEW LORD OF WAR, VIDEO_TS folder into DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2 and just perform your usual shrinking/encoding/transcoding process, now the rest is history.
**NOTE: this is your NEW LORD OF WAR, VIDEO_TS folder that VobBlanker has successfully processed and filtered out junks already only, it is NOT your first ripped "VIDEO_TS" folder that you ripped it from DVD Decrypter or DVDFAB Decrypter.
I've used this methods for all RipGuard or ARccOS and so far it has never let me down -- it's always a success.
