DVDShrink won?t open my backup

I did backup LOTR3 the Sp.Ex.Edition using DVDdecrypter file mode and burned it with NERO7 on a DL DVD (no compression).
The backup DVD plays flawlessly on every player I tried it on, but when I try to open it with DVDSrink all I get is a green screen.
DVDDecrypter on the contrary has no problem to rip it, but when I try to open the ripped files with DVDShrink I get this message
?failed to open file VIDEO_TS/VTS_02_0.IFO? and it can?t open it.
Why, what is wrong??????

is there a possibility that VIDEO_TS/VTS_02_0.IFO is corrupt or damaged.

Try using isobuster and decrypter instead......

If you already made a backup why are you trying to open it again? Are you trying to Shrink it to a smaller disk? If all you want is another dl backup then use disk copy in Nero. Since you ripped in file mode and burned with Nero, Nero then placed the layer break where it wanted it, changing the IFO structure. You would be better to try ripping it with Decrypter in ISO mode and then doing whatever you want with the file.

Your explanation for NERO changing the Layer break point might be the answer. Next time I rip the movie in ISO mode.
