Hi all,

I have looked but cannot find anything, is it possible to downgrade to version 1.5 from 1.51 (via upgrade to version 2) then back to 2 again?

A friend of mine whos not on here wants to know.

To make your firmware 1.50 from a 1.51 or 1.52 firmware you will need to manually update your psp to 2.0 firmware(DO NOT USE THE AUTO UPDATE AS YOU WILL GET A 2.60 FIRMWARE THAT IS NOT DOWNGRADEABLE!!!)

yes mate i know, if you look at my post i wanna know if after you've gone from v1.51 to v2.0 to v1.5, can you go back to 2 again without any problems?

yeh you can.

theres is some debate as to how many times you can do it without harming your psp - but i know someone who has done it atleaast 5 times or more

My original PSP was a 1.52 and I've upgraded and downgraded twice only to play Socom, but i wouldnt advise anyone to do it regularly.

I've gone back and forth between 1.5 and 2.0 a few times without any problem, i would do it as little as possible though

i no same here downgrading is REALLY scary LOL, i was sweating like mad when downgrading , cos if i bricked it , my life would b over.although i have a 4 year warranty i would get a shabby 2.01+ back

was v1.5 (got stolen)new ceramic white 2.6---> downgraded to 1.5 :D
