any ideas on how to do this ? possibly without reinventing the wheel? :)
I have DVD43, DVD-Decrypter, DVD-X-Copy Plt. 5.0.x, 1click dvd copy 4.2.1.5
Plextor 708a/latest firmware

I tried different ways, decrypting it first, running dvd43 , dvd-x- copy etc....the movie when copied, if copied, does not play entirely, only a certain part of the movie is copied over to the dvd.

Well the easiest way is the AnyDVD and CloneDVD combo. Piece of cake. There's not a movie out there right now that this combo can't handle. You can dl a 21 day free trial from http://slysoft.com.
It's what I used for this one.
Next is a free way to do it. Rip with dvdfab decrypter, open and process files thru DVD Shrink then use decrypter to burn.
Oh and edit out your email addy (not allowed + spammers love it!)

DVD FabDecrypter works well too. Rip it then use Shrink to fit it on a 4.7 DVD+/-R/W
