Change burn speed with nero after using DVD Shrink?

I backup my dvds using dvd shrink and nero 6. Once my dvd is done running through shrink, it automatically goes to nero to burn. My question is, how do I change the write speed to 4x instead of 8x before it automatically burns? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Very easy to do.

First keep in mind that you must have your blank disc in the burner and spun up before setting the burn speed. This gives the program a chance to look at your media and otherwise the settings box will only present default speed settings. You must also have Nero enabled in Preferences which I assume you do.

Now when you are ready to begin the backup process you select "Backup!" this opens the Backup DVD menu.

Go to the Burn Settings tab and then change the speed.

Once that is done, proceed as usual.

Wow... I really am a newbie. Never really took notice to the burn settings tab! Thanks a bunch for pointing me in the right direction.
