Problems with Brothers Grimm & The Great Raid.

I have DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink and now VobBlanker 2.0.1.0

Everytime I get to step 1 in VobBlanker (input=source) I get an error message. "Referenced Menu Empty or does not exist Video_TS"

What can I possibly be doing wrong. I ripped with DVD Decrypter via Mode. File F. into C:\The_Brothers_Grimm\Video_TS\

Tried The Great Raid also and I get the same error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you using AnyDVD? I had no problem with either one but I have AnyDVD then used decrypter then shrink. Google AnyDVD if you need it its not free but you can try it for 20 days.

megabyte2, I did it using DVDFab and Then Shrink.

Took a couple of tries but it worked.

Thanks again for your input, I will certainly keep in mind for next time.

Its always been my understanding that DVDfab is like decrypter with newer updates since decrypter was shutdown. While Im big on using freeware I still think at some point you will have to start using AnyDVD to unlock all the goofy protection. Does anyone know if AnyDVD filters the SONY virus? (xcp). Its scary to put anything from Sony in my drives not knowing what kind of crap they have installed on those disks.

Yes AnyDVD should - here's a link about it:

It only affected cd's that I remember. There's also an article at aD somewhere about Microsoft going after Sony for this.

Right I have talked to Sony about the XCP virus and they tell me its automatically installed when Windows XP reads the disk after inserting it into the drive. No notice is given or prompt issued. Its currently not removable as Sony doesnt want to remove it however they will let you install an update called XCP2 which will modifiy the virus to close the hacker holes. However I read already that it failed friendly hackers who tested it. So Sony is stuck, Sony did assure me that they stopped using it and suggest you return your media to its purchase place for full refund. However they never notified retail stores of the refund so no store will take back the CD's or DVD's. Moral of the story always turn off autoread functions in windows explorer. As well as lockdown your .ini files and back them up.

@zulyppl,

You can do Both these Movies with just DVDD and DVDS?..

Open Decrypter, go to Mode -> ISO -> click on Read R
Rip the Disc to a Folder, example Bros_Grimm

Now exit and open Shrink, go to File -> Open Disc Image and browse to Bros_Grimm and select the file with the .ISO extension..
Shrink will read it in and analyze. Shrink it like you prefer and save to Bros_Grimm/VIDEO_TS
Now you can burn using Nero or whatever..

Try it and let me know..
Use good Discs and burn at 4x..

Happy Burning..

The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves...

@2oldgreek

ty for responding........ I did try with DVDD & DVDS and thats when I posted my question. I had never had a problem until then.

It was suggested by arniebear (on a different forum) to try DVDFab & Shrink and it worked great.

Again, ty so much!
