Is your burner external? Think so.

YOu could try different media, Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim maybe? Sony fuji and maxell are good only if they are made in japan.

Another member has what appears to be the same problem, here is what I suggested....

If you have an older computer chances are it has a usb 1.1 interface (operates at max 12MB/sec), your external burner was designed to work best with a usb 2.0 interface (operates at 480MB/sec), if your going to be burning DVDs on an external burner you should connect it to a pc that has a usb 2.0 interface other wise there could be problems (usb 1.1 is too slow for doing this). Purchase a usb 2.0 PCI card for your pc and connect the burner to it, and see what happens.

To eliminate Nero and/or the media you're using as a possible cause, try burning with another application.

Have shrink create an iso image of the movie, then use either DVD Decrypter in ISO write mode or get Imgburn to burn the image to disk, keep the write speed at 4x (you might also want to try it at 2x if you got time to kill).

get DVD Decrypter... http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/

get imgburn here.. http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
