Before everyone comes down on me, I am sorry for the double post but it has been a couple of days and I have not recd any response. I may have posted it in the incorrect forum so here it goes.

I am trying to check the quality of my burned dvds. I have nero cd-dvd speed and kprobe but do not have any idea if I am setting the scans up correctly or even what to look for in my results. I have good media (Sony dvd-r from Japan) but just want to be sure on my burns. Is there a guide of any sort for either Nero cd-dvd speed or kprobe that can lead me thru the process. I have searched thru the site but have not had any luck. Extreme newbie so please be gentle. Thanks

Hi autiger and welcome to AD!

There is no guide per se, but the only thing you really do is put your burned DVD in the drive, launch Nero cd/dvd speed, click the disc quality tab and press the start button. What you really wanna pay close attention to is the PI errors (maximum) and the quality score. This overall gives you the quality of the disc. You seem to be on a good start by using Sony discs :-)
