i got my psp when it had just came out and i followed the homebrew scene two months before that, so i know my bit of pfp homebrew, when the 2.0 version came out i wanted to try the web browser and AVC viewing but i dint want to lose my homebrew, then the downgrader came out and i upgraded, then downgraded, upgraded again and downgrade it. at this poing i wanted to stay with 1.5 but when i played a couple of games i got buss errors(i got these on quake 2, PSPOSS, MPH firmware loader, and others,) so i thought of upgrading to 2.0 but i cant.

this is where i get my problem, i go to the upgrade screen and all of the text doesnt show up, i only get the X and the O in the bottom of the screen so i say "whatever ill already know my way around without words ill just press X alot of times and ill doit or press RIGHT d pad again and again" but when i do i get to the last page and i can only press O, means i cant upgrade for some reason, i tried v.1.5.1 and the text works and everything is like normal but i want 2.0, any suggestions?

i tried the upgrade from the internet and also the upgrade in grand theft auto, neither on worked, both of them did the same thing. i also upgraded to 1.5.1 and tried upgrading to 2.0 but the same thing happened, im going to try both japanese version, i remeber when it first came out there was an old 2.0, then when it came out in the us the japanese got a different 2.0 out in the same day, maybe if i get the old one it could work, does anybody have a link to both?

This happens when you have done certain firmware tweaks or buttin swapping. Just restore default settings and everything should show up fine. Ive had this problem b4
