Strange happenings with Dvd Decrypter/shrink etc.

I have had good success burning with Dvd Decrypter,shrink and dvd43 running in the background but lately some strange things happen when I go to burn.
I have a benq dq6o burner with the latest firmware and burn at 4x using verbatim 16x discs with the advanced azo.
No problem using either re-author or backup but when it goes to burn with decrypter and click next to the green arrow I get an I/O error. Sometimes if I click cancel 4 or 5 times it then will begin to burn. Other times I hear "oh no" and it takes me back to the burn page and if i click on the burn symbol it will sometimes burn but often will not. I get intrepretations:check condition,write(10)-sectors 0-31 and command sequence error, medium not present.
Now if I then go to my folder where the .iso is stored and double click on it, it then loads Roxio and will burn my disc with no problem.
If I use shrink and enable burning with nero I usually have no problem but do get the occasional error I/o message. Is it possible to burn an .iso with shrink and nero and not use Dvd Decrypter?

Yes, you can burn with Nero from shrink. Enable it in shrinks preferences.
You may have a corrupt DVDdecrypter. Uninstall it and reinstall fresh.

Just uninstalled and installed a new one from the site you posted. Is there any special setting or setting that i should have when I first start my new DVD Decrypter?

Default settings should be good for now, don't tinker with any of the settings in DVD Decrypter.
And by the way, we don't need to know where you are getting your movies.

9mm l just read one of your guides to burning with shrink as mine no longer burns automaticaly with Nero ( l have to manualy do it ) and the setting you show isnt listed in my settings!!! any ideas????

If you do not have the enable to burn setting in your Shrink Preferences then are you sure you have the most up to date Shrink, or that it is not corrupted. It should be in Shrink, Preferences and then under the I/O tab.

I still cannot burn with DVD Decrypter even after reinstalling. Still getting all the I/o error and other messages mentionned above. I still can go to the .iso file and double click and it will burn with Roxio on the same disc that decrypter won't recognize. Any other suggestions?

Got a great burn with Roxio so guess will have to stick with doing it that way but did have good success with Nero and shrink as well.

l have that preference " burn with Nero " checked and it still doesnt work does that mean DVD Shrink is corrupted? if so do l re download?

Hi there dougga22,
From what I gathered is that you have Nero and Roxio installed. I guess you mught have a conflict there. I would suggest getting rid of one of those progs.
