I am new to backing up dvds but i backed up my copy of wedding crashers and watched it and it cut out like 8 seconds of the movie....i thought maybe my disc was scratched so i borrowed my friends and it did the same thing when i backed it up..at the same place....i know eight secoonds is no big deal but on some of my dvd players it wont just go to the eight seconds later it will skip to the next scene...i used dvd shrink for the whole process...i have dvd decrypter and dvdfab but did not use them.

Go back and reauthor the disc,open up set and start frames and go to the spot where it stops on the Preview box (at the bottom of shrink)see if its recording the whole movie.If it is go into edit/setting and make sure you have it on custom 4300mb.Make sure you reauthor it if its to big..

Here's what works for me in query to "Wedding Crashers".

*** Tools ***

<><><> PROCESS A <><><>
<> DVD Decrypter to rip via Mode, File F to hard drive
<> PgcEdit combo PSL2 plugin + FixVTS to process & filter bad/fake cells
<> Nero Recode 2 to transcode/encode and burn with Nero Burning Rom

<><><> PROCESS B <><><>
<> DVD Decrypter to rip via Mode, File F to hard drive
<> Nero Recode 2 to transcode/encode and burn with Nero Burning Rom

<><><> PROCESS C <><><>
<> DVD Decrypter to rip via Mode, ISO, Read to hard drive
<> Open Disc Image via DVD Shrink and transcode/encode as usual
<> burn with Nero Burning Rom

<><><> PROCESS D <><><>
<> DVDFAB Decrypter 2.9.6.8 to rip into hard drive
<> VobBlanker or PgcEdit to process and filter out fake/bad cells
<> Nero Recode 2 to transcode/encode and burn with Nero Burning Rom

Any of these should take care of "Wedding Crashers" easily.

Good luck!!

I just finished backing up my Wedding Crashers Uncorked Edition...
All I used was DVD Shrink ver3.2 & AnyDVD ver5.6.3.1

I let DVDShrink Rip, Encode, & Burn....
I used Maxell DVD+R discs....I have a Pioneer DVD+-RW drive Ver 106d

I havent seen any probs with the movie...No chap 10 lock-up or Chap 4 Audio probs as others have talked of...Did not Re-Edit Full back-up Copy of the movie

I ripped Wedding Crashers using only DVD Shrink & nothing else.
I even used my old Platinum XCopy - no sweat.

@Crouch57

That is why I said;

<> DVD Decrypter to rip into hard drive via MODE, File F
<> or DVDFAB Decrypter 2.9.6.8 to rip into the hard drive
<> VobBlanker 2.1.0.0 to process and filter out bad/fake cells/sectors
<> now transcode/encode with DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2

100% successfully backed up regardless if its RipGuard or ARccOS, no glitches, no freeze, no AnyDVD, no DVD43 whatsoever.

I just tried to make a backup of wedding crashers using the bbmayo guide for decrypter/fab/shrink. I ripped with fab. When I pulled up the movie in shrink instead of it going straight to the movie files it came to another folder called DVD. I clicked on it and the files came up. I could not find a title 1 or title 2. All available titles appear to be advertising, etc.

Then I went into the folder in my computer and pulled up the VIDEO_TS file and played the movie on my pc.

Did fab not decrypt the movie for burning? I don't have any other programs other than Sonic which I'm not using. please help
