My on button is stuck

When I got home from school, I pulled my psp out of my pocket and tried to turn it on but out of no where, the on button won't slide all teh way up and turn on. What should I do to fix it? I didnt' want to try to force it and I'd rather not return it to the store and get a new one cause then i'd have no use for a psp, I don't have any games but the gay NBA 05' one and I am all about roms and I have frm 1.50. Any suggestions on how to fix this or what to do?

erm...

you could try taking it apart it not hard just take out the screws and it just pops off

perhaps you have a bit of sh** stuck in there

Wouldn't that void the warrenty though? I mean I don't care really but I just want to take it back if I have no choice and I don't think the people who work at k-mart are really gonna check to see if the seal is broken.

ya it would because in order to open it there is one screw that is cover with the warranty label, so I suggest just to return it, and try to buy a new psp off someone that has v1.5-v2.0, otherwise then i guess you have to wait till fanjita or whoever gets games working on 2.1-2.6. :-\
