I'm having a hard time copying " The Punisher". When I dycrpt it and then try to play it on computer...it keeps on showing this kid jumping up and down on screen over and over.. has anyone else experienced this. When i put it in the real DVD player it wont even get to the title menu. I've tried different methods. Anyone have a solution or know what i'm talking about.

@vinelife,
Welcome to afterdawn?
He He, I haven?t seen a jumping kid for some time now LOL. It?s a backup protection that has been used and evidently is still around?.
Try using AnyDVD and CloneDVD. Click on the name to get a free 21 day trial..
Or for FREE stuff that works follow this Guide:
http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/petesguide13.html and down load the programs, DVDDecrypter and DVDShrink from the Guide?
Don?t forget to use good Media? Verbatim, Tayio Yuden, etc. Check this link for picking Media:
http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm
Then check back and let us know the outcome?..
Happy burning..

Be sure to follow the Guide. It uses Decrypter in the ISO Read Mode and should do away with the Jumping Boy??

What programs are you running AnyDVD with to copy it?
AnyDVD running in the background of your copy program should take care of it..
Let us know just what is the procedure you're using?

The workaround the jumping boy is like so: Place still image in unreferenced materials, or backup main movie only using reauthor mode.

I used DVD Shrink 3.2 with AnyDVD running in the background. But all it would show was the jumping guy. But I read around a little bit and settled to backup only the main movie using re-authoring. That worked out well. So I guess I'll just use that. I have no idea how to put in still images. I'm pretty new at this.

Highlight unreferenced materials in the left side, then on the right side in the drop down menu choose still image.

Ok I'll try that next time. Thanks! By the way, what difference would placing still images versus re-authoring do?

dbomb71, by using the still pictures, as LOCOENG suggested, you will be able to copy the Whole Movie with menus and extras. In the Re-author you will get the Movie Only, no menus or extras.
