I have an avi file of pink floyd darkside of the rainbow the one in sync with darkside of the moon /wizard of oz. anyway i have nero 6 ultra, cucusoft avi to dvd convertor . i browsed through the forums and couldnt find the answer to my problem. i'm new to doing anything with video/dvd. after i convered the file what do i do in nero? i made a dvd data disc and it only played on my pc not on my dvd player. i knew making it to a data disc was wrong, but what other option was there for me to burn to dvd so i can play it on my dvd player. i dont see a video file to dvd option. just backup,data disc,copy disc , and audio disc. i know it's a dumb question but i'm new to the game and stumped.
p.s i made it into a cd video disc too but it woulnt play in dvd player it said unknow disc.

ok i suggest you download vso DivX to dvd from the link below.

use this program to convert your AVI to an mpeg2 compatible format or dvd movie format.There is a burning application associated with it which you can use to burn your project to disc or try imgburn from the link below

i just learned how to use my DVD Shrink with my Nero 6 and dvdfabencyrpt too. this stuff is getting a little easier but i got much to learn.
