Hello, I am new to hacking PSP's but is there any other way besides using the .TIF exploit... I was messing around with my PSP and I don't know what happend, but when I was watching a movie and went to start a new one, it locked up on me and the screen changed to a lighter shade of the blue. I have a Ver. 2.5 and maybe just maybe its possible to encode something into the movies that allows abreitary code to be run behind the movie. Just as some viruses and spyware use movies to run code.
If anyone that has decent knowlege of this please let me know if this is a possiblity...
Another way I have seen is to have the USB Plugged in just enough to where it says its not plugged in but it says it is on the computer... I saw a video of this but it most certainly is fake. But I am not totally downing it.
Last but not least is there someone who might be able to fashion a cord to fit into the memory card slot and act as a memory card that is connected to the computer? This may be just the thing that the Extreme hackers need to get a boost on the 2.1 2.5 and 2.6 hack... So when you have it plugged in it reads off of the harddrive and then you run a upgrade to 2.6 then replace the eboot for 2.6 with a 2.0. Is this possible. Please Respond. No one that has no knowlege of hacking is welcome to this discussion

hey everyone im new to this site but i found just the other day on how to downgrade your psp on all versions ive been looking for ever it seems like to find a downgrade for my psps version 2.60 but nothing then the other day i found this site and its awesome it has meany users but the crapy thing about it is that it costs 14.95 but the thing is its a site its not found out by hackers or people who have to much time on there hand its a DOWNGRADER for the psp you put it in ur psp and it downgrades for you ive yet to try it but i will confirm that it works monday and its wensday so if you think you can wait then i will confirm that it works but the site name is and i hope this shows up but here it is http://www.pspdowngrading.com/ well ill post the conformation on monday see yeah then bye

this is BS - if there was a downgrader it would be free -

thats just laughable - if there was one - it would have to be "found out" (your terrible english not mine) by hackers - it would have to be - its not as if the site created the downgrader its self - and posted it for a fee (thats like the most obvious sign its fake)

Well its not actually true, but I dont know if anyone has actually tried to encode stuff into a movie file... It is very possible if more people like fantjia knew about it. but im pretty sure fantjia tried it already... If anyone else has any ideas on the situation just put em here.

I've seen people talk about hidden code in video files but i don't think i've ever actually came across anybody that's tried it so you never know what might work.

Stop asking. There won't be any downgraders for a while
ps3 with 20gb hard drive
xbox 360 premium edtion with vga/hd hook up to my dell 20.1 inch widescreen lcd.
White and black 1.5 psp's
I'll take this down WHEN micro$oft decides to stop being lazy and make the capcom fighting games backwards compatible with the 360 dammit!!!

There is no way to downgrade firmware 2.01 or higher, do not be fooled by these pay for downgrading scams its complete s**te and will either brick ur PSP or it wont work at all. If and when a downgrader will be released it will be for free and available from all the respective PSP hack sites

okay let me explain to u idiot's how the 2.0 downgrader worked when sony released the new feature to put a custom wallpaper it allowed u to set your own wallpaper and to do that it writ to the flash big mistake so when u run the picture it tells the psp is 1.0 thus letting u upgrade to 1.5 overwriting the 2.0 now when sony release 2.0 they moved the imprortant system files away from the wallpapers and stuff so noone could access the flash and that's why people couldnt downgrade for 2.1+. Also the video thing wont work because playing a video doesnt access flash in any shape of form!

charming... 'idiots'. and what did u start out as when u got ur psp first time out? not calling u an idiot, but isnt that being hypocritical (i think thats the term...)?
were all here to learn new things, so lets all be friendly ^_^ (cauz the mods r scary :o ).
to answer and to sum up: n-o. we shall all hear about it before ANYONE who publically sells it to make profit. im pretty sure the downgraders are freeware (but the creaters LOVE donations ^_^ so donate >_< ), so developers dont want to make a profit out if it. whereas people who want money and want to scam people in believing the impossible, sell these kinda things (cant think clearly to type correctly cauz im at work).
