Is there a way to tell which DVD's have the Sony ARccOSS protection on them so I know that DVD Decrypter won't work?

Not really but if it is a new Sony Movie then you can just about bet on it. Use AnyDVD as it updates for the different encryptions or use DVDD in .iso mode and then use Shrink to create the image file
