Thanks for previous assistance, my copied DVD's are great for the grandkids to handle without destrying the original.

Have been purchasing DVD's from 'auction' sites such as Amazon etc, as the time taken before release in Australia is a joke. These cost plenty once converted from US to A$ and still take some time to arrive. There's also the problem of regional coding which the backups take care of.

Is there value in utilising 'download' sites such as Freedvddirect (mentioned in another recent post) to get the latest new releases, can the files be easily saved and in turn burnt to disc or is it just a waste of time/money.

Can anyone provide feedback on the pros and cons of such sites, should I subscibe or keep purchasing.

Thanks in anticipation,
Tom

If it was me i wouldnt subscrube for that site because if you do it im nearly sure you will pay and then the only thing you will be allowed to download from there is a p2p program wich you can get for free anywhere. That happened to me long ago when i was starting using the net and i paid for it,so im just trying to get to everyone the same information as i got.Dont fall for it.Your free to try.Its your choice but thats how it is.You pay then you are allowed to download p2p programs and other aplications wich are freeware.I think sites like that shouldnt be allowed to do that but as it is freeware i reckon they can.Good luck on your choice.

Like mg5pro said youll have just as much better luck with Limewire, DCC++ or Bit-Torrent they are professional bullshit artists those websites.
Stick to amazon if you want quality, ive used amazon quite a few times for dvds they are really good only thing is when buying box sets the discs get dislodged but if there is any damage they replace them straight away.
