PSP 2.1 2.5 2.6 Downgrade Info

Well right now there is no downgrader, but all the teams are definetly making progress what witht the .Tiff overflow working but no code is able to be run. So if some people want to get some fresh ideas on how to do this I believe I may be able to help...

My first idea is making a movie and encoding abitrary code in it. Since you all know that some spyware and viruses are able to hide them selves inside of videos. So in turn we might be able to do just that and put code into it to allow it to overflow and run code.

My second idea is to fashion a cord to connect to your computer and also connect to the MS Duo slot on the psp allowing it to run directly off of your hard drive. So when you open up the 2.6 upgrade to upgrade your 2.1 or 2.5 you start to upgrade then swap out the 2.6 eboot with a 2.0 eboot. I dont know if this is completly possible, but if someone would like to enlighten me about it I would most appreciate it

Now im just a poor sucker sucked into upgrading...

but i believe i may have found a way to downgarde 2.01+

I have not tried this yet (mainly cause i dont have gta) and i am just wanting an opinion of the possiblity of this working and if possibly someone wanted to trial it...

Now there is homebrew out there that will trick the psp into thinking that it is running different firmaware...

Now if you were to use the gta exploit to load that homebrew to triking your psp to thinking that it was version 1.5.
Then while it thinks it is 1.5 update it to 2.0
downgrading it from 2.01+ to 2.0...

And walaa...in my theoretical brain it seems that i may have found a solution to this problem...

But i dont know much about the psp workings...

Your views would be greatly appreciated...

2.0 - 1.5 had a similar concept...

i bit more explanation would be nice...

I thought it might create a mess...but...wouldnt it just overight what is the older files for the newer ones(2.0 update)...

you have just as much chance of getting it to downgrade

it WONT work

p.s the first has been tried

the second couldnt possibly work - seems as the psp checks the update 6 times to see if it as the right data - to stop stupid idots like him from bricking there psp

and reported him - which got him booted (after he sent me a not so polite pm telling me to "go away" and that he had my mum????)- which i laughed at because if he saw my mother he wouldnt want her rotflmao
