when ever my dvds get to a 95% completion a error pops up saying i do not have enough space... help!

Are you shrinking it properly?Go on shrink>>>edit>>>preferences.Then check if you got where it says dvd-5 you got custom 4300 mb.If this is not what you have set it to that size.

Note:im assuming this happens when you are burning it and that you shrunk it

If you get the error b/4 burning then you probably don't have enuf hard drive space.
Free up some space - at least 11 gig is recommended. Remember even when shrink is done the file is still on your hard drive - you have to delete them.
What's the exact error and when is it happening? Encoding or burning?
