I am backing up all of my dvds and i do not have time to watch them all. I was wondering if there is a way the computer can check after i burn it because there have been a few dvds that i have burned that have sipped spots, or freeze. And i was wondering why i was having these freze spots....is it my media...cause im using memorex which is bad

Most likely memorex is your problem. Keep burn speed at 4x (8x on top quality media) and make sure your f/w is current. Defrag often and keep your system free of adware/spyware.
