Hello All,
I'm a complete newbie to burning dvds. I am trying to burn dvds from mpegs that I have downloaded. I have tried almost every conceivable program to burn this and no luck. I have nero express, roxio, cucusoft and a million more, and I just keep wasting blank disks (dvd-r and dvd+r). Just last night I used Nero express. I loaded the mpeg, I left off the chapters and all that, and simply chose to name the project on the main screen and leave it one big file on the dvd. It said it would take close to 8 hours to complete, so I left it and went to bed. When I get up this morning (and this happens every time) it says there is a burn error and it didn't finish the burn process (another wasted disc). I saved the error log, is there anything in it that could help me (or someone else) tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

What do you have your Burning speed set at?? You should have it set at the Lowest speed Possible for Movie DVD"s(2x)....

Also if that doesn"t help you Might Try useing Different Burning software and/or Trying a Different Brand of DVD Media ....

You might also want to update the Firmware on your DVD Drive and see if that helps.....
