Will dual layer printable dvds come down in price within the next couple of years? I read on here that Taiyo won't be doing DL any time soon, so what qaulity brands will? Does Verbatim, Pro-Disc, etc have any white printables yet? Will we ever see a spindle of 50 DL be $50 or under?

Until they do come down in price, you should try DVD-Rebuilder with CCE or Hanks. The quality is excellent!

Is dvd rebuilder difficult to learn? How is it possible to get an entire dvd (menus and all) and maintain the quality?

Process with MenuShrink to compress menus first (super-easy and fully automated process), and then re-encode with RB. Or you can just do "movie only." RB is easy as well if you follow the setup instructions in the guide. There is nothing else out there non-professionally that can touch RB/CCE or Hanks quality!!!

Hey all,
Just wanted to contribute my two cents on this topic. First of all, from everything I've been told, stay AWAY from Meritline. They've recently been caught selling Taiyo Yudens that aren't authentic, as well as TDK's with media codes that don't match the disc.
I used them along time ago, but was reading that in the last few years their customer service/return policy, etc, has really gone downhill.
Someone on this thread recommended http://www.supermediastore.com to me, and I've recently bought 100 Prodisc inkjet printable 8X DVD-R's for only 30 bucks shipped. That's pretty damn good.
As for the DL discs, you can get Ritek brand (good discs) inkjet printable dual layered discs for $1.95 each. I think that's the cheapest you're going to find. I've used Riteks before and they're great. Only downfall with these discs is that they're not full face, i.e., not hub printable.
Hope that helps!
And YES, if you can't afford DL GET DVD REBUILDER PRO and use CCE basic.

Are there any Dual-layer hub printables that exist? Do you ever get any coasters with those Riteks?

Hey man,
No coasters so far, I was even using them to backup my XBox games so I can keep the originals from getting damaged. I searched hi and low for hub printable inkjet dual layer and have thus far been unable to find any ANYWHERE. Ritek is pretty good with that kind of stuff though. Wouldn't surprise me if full faced discs came along from them sometime in the near future.
Cheers,
Justin
