The Primera Disc laminator is truly an awesome machine! It puts down a thin layer of clear laminate that protects your dvds and makes them glossy. I have some samples that I sent to Primera for them to laminate. They can still be scratched, but they are completely water and smudge proof. Anybody ever see it before?
Yes I did. No scans though. It would be difficult to tell by a picture. It makes printed dvds look great! I even put one under the sink and it didn't smear. They can still be scratched though. Aren't original dvds silk screened and not subject to stratches?
Does that stuff really work good? I teid some of the Krylon clear before and it's easy to over-spray and make mistakes. Do you have a method of doing it where you don't mess up? Can I get it at Wal-Mart?
The disc laminator is EXPENSIVE! I have seen it for $2200 on certain sites...but GEEZ! I have to say though...it kicks ass! You absolutely cannot smudge or smear them after they are laminated.
Off the subject question for you as well...have you used DVD Rebuilder before? If so, is it difficult to use?
I place the disc to be sprayed on top of one of those clear plastic discs that are usually at the top and bottom of spindles... One, maybe two, light coats do the trick. I don't spray it on heavy at all. Protects the disc from incidental moisture contact and makes the colors more vibrant.
