I'm haveing the same problem that this guy is having the subtitles on my burnt DVD show up by default.

Do you want the subtitles the if not disable them in your Shrink preferences

Will I still have the subtitles where I go to the setup on the DVD player and make that ajustments to get the subtitles on.

No, all subtitles will be removed except the ones required to be shown when individuals are speaking in a different languages (so you can understand what's being said). These subtitles are forced, which means they are part of the movie and cannot be removed.

I don't think you can remove the subtitles but you can disable it on your DVD player or even when you watch on your PC.

After you have dragged your movie to the left pane and it has analyzed, right click on it in the left pane and select "set default streams". Put a dot in hide sub picture. Your sub titles will still be there but your player won't kick them on. I have 2 players that will kick them on so I do this all the time.
I uncheck all the foreign subs and leave the english, then hide it.
