When I open DVDD I get the following error: E 15:31:49 Unable to initialise ElbyCDIO! - ELBYCDIO.DLL
E 15:31:49 Reason: The specified module could not be found.
E 15:31:49 You need to install CloneDVD.
E 15:31:49 Visit http://www.elby.ch to download it.
E 15:31:49 Alternatively, try changing the 'I/O Interface' in the Settings to a different one.

I no longer have DVD Clone so do I need to chnge my I/O settings? How should they be set? Thanks!

This is an easy one.
The reason you're getting this error is because of the ASPI layer you have selected decrypter to use, most likely the one installed by CloneDVD, but since you removed CloneDVD you also removed that driver/ELBYCDIO.DLL. This is what you do:

Run DVDdecrypter

Choose Tools-->Settings-->click on the I/O tab

In the interface section of the I/O screen choose SPTI-Microsoft then click ok.

Close DVDdecrypter then run it again, all should be ok now

Check that. Files now ripped to HD but when I open files with shrink I get this error:
DVD shrink encountered error and cannot continue.
Invalid data in file VTS_01_1.VOB
Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.

I had DVD43 running before ripping the files with Decrypter but the two have worked fine together in the past. Suggestions?

try using AnyDVD whilst shrinking or run it through VOB BLANKER to remove the "dummy" files

To get rid of overlapped I/O go to shrink preferences I/O tab and un-check the enable overlapped I/O box.
Here is a thread where i found that happening to me.
