Hey everyone. I have a question, Im trying to DL a program to copy my DVD's. Im wondering what is the best programs to do so. I tried the DVD platinum, but that didn't work. So I was wondering if anyone can tell me another one that I can use.
I have a HP 3800 Dual disc drives, Im not the best at working with computers so if there is a easy program to use also, I would appreciate it.

Did you mean DVD Platinum X from X software??
You can also use DVD Decrypter, it does a great job of layer breaks.
A program that you have to pay after a 21 day trial is DVD Clone.

Cool, thanks. I'll see what other choices are, then preview a few of them, then see which one is best. What about AnyDVD how is that ?
Yeah DVD Platinum X that's the one I tried to use.

AnyDVD is a great prog that is used to break any encryptions on your movies, it's a free 21 day trial. I suggest you try it, you wont be sorry. You can also use it in conjunction with CloneDVD

Factory DVD movies are encrypted to prevent recording. Backing up DVDs with any media format requires a decryption tool such as AnyDVd, DVDFab Decrypter or the like. Decrypting tools work with most programs used to backup DVDs. DVDFab Decrypter is a free app from DVDIdle. There is a freeware app named DVD43 similar to AnyDVD, but is not as good as the retail AnyDVD. Also, AnyDVD is updated regularly and quickly when an update is needed to solve a new encryption system. So, AnyDVD is the best bet if getting the new movies backed up shortly after release is important. AnyDVD can be purchased separately or as a package with CloneDVD 2 at http://www.slysoft.com . DVD Region+CSS Free is another retail decrypter similar to AnyDVD.
DVD Decrypter is free, but the author stopped support as the program was also one of the best decryption tools available (legal issues in the UK), besides being a good burner app. The decryption is still good except for some of the new movies with newer encryption systems. However, Lightning UK now has ImgBurn released which includes utilities as well as the burner program from DVD Decrypter. You can check out the app here and it is free. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/imgburn.cfm
