MY PROBLEM is that with anydvd running in the background the dvd's wont shrink down to 4464...but with it shut down the dvd's compress just fine...as with anydvd running in the background..dvd shrink's automatic compression is at 97.6 without anydvd running the compression is 51.4...which is fine with me....

Make sure you have the newest ver. of AnyDVD there was some problem with the program interfacing with Shrink/Recode a few updates back but slysoft tried to resolve it. Shrink is after all an older program and it is hard for slysoft to keep their updates integrated with it. You would be better using AnyDVD in the background with DVD Decrypter and ripping your file to you HDD and then using Shrink, otherwise you will not be able to break the new encryptions, because Shrink cannot do this.
