Where do I find the log? Above log is from shrink program.

That is not a Shrink log, it is a Nero log. Shrink doesn't burn, it uses your Nero to do that

goto c:\program files\nero\ner6\core
look for a file called "nero history log.txt"
open the file, then just copy past it here.

I had the same problem
I installed Nero 7.0 and I got a "failed" remark when I burned Cd or DVds.
I installed the previous older Nero version with my UJ-831s DVd burner it I can record now with out errors.
BTW. I re-installed Nero v. 6.6.0.16 it should work for you, it did for me.
Perhaps other versions do not have the correct drivers for support???
Not sure.
Anyways try out and installed the version I mentioned.
