They are pretty expensive and also bulky. I don't like them but thats just me.

Tha davantage of memory sticks over hard drives is no moving parts. This means the files can be accessed faster and data transfer rates between the card and PSP is fast enough to keep up without any problems. That 4GB drive is actually a mini hard drive with moving parts and it can't always keep up. The PSP will try to take information just a bit faster than the drive can give it, so you'll have skipping of your songs, movies, games, etc...

I wouldnt buy it cuz its going to be WAY!!! to expensive.....Since the 4 gb one is like 300 buks------>which is as much as the giga pack.........the 6gb and the 8gb is going to be WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.......i would wait till Sony lowers the price........also i would wait till someone gets games working on 2.0+ before i buy it...:-\

Just get a few 1 gig sticks instead and keep them in the psp's case. What do you need 4 gig for anyway.

It is all too late for me, being 3 months since i bought the datel.
You cannot use it to listen to mp3 or watch videos clips or movies it is way too slow the mp3 and movies skip horribly. It is quite bulky and now since they are planning to release 4 & 8gb memory stick pro duo my datel is usless. The only thing its good for so far is to stand my Psp up so i can watch movies.

i have the datel hardrive and ive had for a long time
i have watched countless of hours of movies, music and games and it has not been slow skipped or glitched once.

this thing is great the only bad thing about it is that it is a little chunky but u get use to it.

You must have the 2nd generation Datel hdd
i heard they are faster and thus allowing movie and music playback.
Still bulky though, theres also another company which makes Hdd for Psp its thinner and more attractive, But just save up for a 4gb memory stick.

I hope you all know that in the near future that they will be releasing a 4GB and 8GB MS Duo... So I would not invest in a hard drive quite yet my friend.
