When I get to "Select backup target" I only have one option to choose from. "Hard Disk Folder." The option I want is "ISO Image File and burn with DVD Decrypter." Why isn't this one of my choices. Does it have anything to do with my not having Nero installed?

First you need DVDdecrypter installed for this option to work.

get it here:
http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/1011845169/1

Second make sure you have the latest version of DVDshrink.

get it here:
http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/

download the zip file.

If your going to burn with decrypter, make sure you have the burn with nero option in shrink's preferences unchecked.

location: Preferences-->File I/O tab

I checked. I have the most recent DVD Shrink, and the most recent DVD Decrypter. The enable burn with Nero is also unchecked in the preferences section. The only option I have available is "Hard Disk Folder." What do I do. I tried re installing DVD Shrink too. Help!

Do you have window blinds or similar skinning program running on your system? If so it might not let you see your other target options.

Yes I am running Windows Blinds. Do I need to uninstall it? Or can I just temporarily deactivate it? Why does it do this? Thank You

To uninstall or disable, to option is yours, but it's the reason why those option are not displayed in the dropdown menu. I personally would uninstall the feature, never had much use for it and can cause problems when using other applications.

uninstall, reboot, retry.

I don't know why the program hides the target drives, but it does...they are still there but you just can't see them.
