ive just come to use my new psp for the first time. Jap version 1.51. I concerned about the battery indicator as ive had it on charge now for about 1.5 hrs, and when you look at the battery indicator in the menu, it still says 0% batt life. Is this normal for a first charge? how long does it normally take? the the power light is orange by the way.

well the light should not be on when its fully charged. it usualy takes about 2 hrs to charge at first. if it still dosnt charge you can leave it charging overnight it wont hert it.

After it reaches 100% run it down and do another full charge, see how long it takes. Should take around 2 hours to reach full charge, which mine did from the very first use.
