this is my first post.
i am new here.
i have been burning dvd for few months.
i have been using mostly just dvd shrink.
but i want copy wedding crashers and i know lots of people
having problem so i use dvdfab 2.9.6.8
and vobblanker 2.1.0.0 like alkohol said.
first time using vobb.
i'm not advence user so i don't know how to blank fbi or preivews
so i just put input and output and hit process.
dvdfab gave me 7.58gb of file but after using vobblanker gave only 1.43gb of file.
what am i doing wrong?
setting of vobblanker? i don't know.
please help alkohol or anybody.

you are using VOB blanker right. i have had a couple of movies do this to me too. you will have to use a program called AnyDVD. run the latest version of AnyDVD in the background whilst you shrink & it will work. you can get a 21 day trial of AnyDVD here - http://www.slysoft.com/en i hope this helps
I believe you need to have any-dvd installed when you rip the ORIGINAL DISK, before this will work.?? I ripped 'fog' earlier w'FAB [no Anydvd]... the ripped files will not process at this point... tried everything... the main title is gone... 4800mb of VOBs with no video. I'm convinced that I need to re-rip the original w/AnyDVD.

but i have seen alkohol mentioned VOB blanker will work
so i thought i was doing something wrong.
hope alkohol will see this thread and suggest something.

Wedding Crashers is nothing special, I did it with my usual VobBLanker method and it worked flawlessly. To be honest, I've NEVER ran into any new release movie(s) that VobBLanker can not process/handle. VobBLanker has never let me down.

No AnyDVD, no DVD43, no hustle, no black screens, no glitches, 100% success.
My advice to you or whom may concern is that... if you don't know what/where to "blank", just all you need to do is set your "input folder" and "output folder", then just click PROCESS and VobBLanker should be done shortly after 10 minutes. Once VobBLanker is done, you can load/import into DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2 and starts to compress/shrink it as usual. You can use "THE FOG" method with "WEDDING CRASHERS". However, when you get to VobBLanker step, if you're NOT SURE of what to "blank out", then simply click on PROCESS after you've set your "input = your ripped VIDEO_TS file folder from DVDFAB Decrypter earlier" and your new folder aka "output = this is your new folder for the new VIDEO_TS file/folder that you're going to use it with DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2 when VobBLanker is completed processing them junks/craps.

i did use dvdfab 2.9.6.8 and VobBLanker 2.1.0.0 and did input output process.
then i checked file it's only 1.43gb.
i don't know why? i tried DVD Decrypter and VOB same thing happen.
if you can think of anything i did wrong let me know.
but i did copy wedding crashers.
i just tried dvdfab and shrink. it did work! no problem on chapter 10.
but i couldn't re-auther to just copy main movie.
anyway i did copy so all good.
i will try alkohol method for new dvd now on.
