Ive been ripping dvds for about a month now. My problem is with Deuce bigalow european gigolo. when i try to open it in any program i have(dvd fab decrypter 2.2.6.60,shrink3.2,clonedvd2 2.8.5.1) i get the error message: failed to read file D the parameter is incorrect.When i try to reauthor in dvd shrink(3.2) i get two file folders one is jacket_p and video_ts but there is no file size or anything when i click on one there is nothing in the file. I also have anydvd 5.8.3.1 it seems to be working but i get the above error.I use nero smartstart and has worked fine.

Im sorry in dvdfab dycrypter i get the error : get dvd information fail 4096

hi decrypt with dvd dcrypter of fab decrypter then run the files through VOB BLANKER this will remove any bad/dummy files then run through shrink.
alkohol has g great guide here on the forums on how to use VOB blanker. (do a search in the forum if you dont know how to use VOB blanker)

or you can run the latest version of AnyDVD in the background whilst you shrink. you can get a 21 day trial of AnyDVD here http://www.slysoft.com/en/

i cant use fabdecrypter i get the error : get dvd information fail 4096

try DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 & see if that works if not then you will have to use the latest version of AnyDVD whilst you use shrink

I have used every progam that has been recommended with no luck. I have burnt many dvds and never have seen this before.

hi running through vobblanker or using AnyDVD should work with this movie (i backed up this & only use the programs that have been recommended i cannot remember the exact method i used for this movie) parameter incorrect error is caused by copy protection. are you using the latest AnyDVD 5.8.3.1 ? if you are try uninstalling AnyDVD & shrink then re install as i updated AnyDVD a few weeks back & could not back up ANYTHING even older movies (came up with parameter incorrect error) so i uninstalled AnyDVD & reinstalled & now all is perfect. give it a try & keep us posted :-)

mus5892, I am having the same problem - nothing will even read the Deuce Bigalow European Gigalo disc - have tried 'Any DVD, DVD Shrink, DVD FAB, DVD Region + CSS free, DVD43' and lots more - I need a failproof solution to this movie!
