I have the x3 chip installed and working. I went to xbins and retireved the x3 3294 bios. I made a 150mb dummy file and put it all on cd-rw from Nero version 5.0 the way it explains on xbox-scene.

I inserted it into my xbox v1.0 thompson drive and it reads, however it says NO BIOS UPDATE AVAILABLE..HAULTING.

I know this means I did not put the bios in correctly but that is impossible. I mean what am I missing here. I have the bios, dummy file and cd-rw reads. Please help. WHat am I doing wrong.
