Using DVD FAB DYCRYPTER 2.9.6.8 and I have problems with the movie, its skipping all over the place after I rip it. any ideas ?

If the DVD is skipping/freezing during playback, I can think of 4 possible reasons why.

1) poor quality media
2) burning too fast
3) the media you're burning to is incompatible with the player for proper playback
4) the player is too old to play anything other than DVD-ROM disks

try:

1) change your brand of media you use to maybe a sony or verbatim brand (made in japan)
2) burn the backups at 4X speed but no greater the 8x (not the max)
3) read your player's manual and find what type of media it will accept and play correctly, burn to that type only
4) buy a new player or try booktyping (can be done only to DVD+R media and only if you burner supports it so find out), booktyping fools the player into identifying the media as a DVD-ROM.
