Hi all, Anyone know if you can remove trailers/promo stuff without disrupting menu function using shrink. As far as I know the only way is to re-author but you loose all menu funtionality and end up with just the movie? Any thoughts appreciated.

Whoa, fast response, thanks for that. Yeah Although shrink is IMHO one of the best pieces of software ever written it is probably time to go the clone way. Thanks again.

Try MenuShrink. It will shrink your menu way down and leave buttons working.

You can also try DVD Shrink and put all other folder in still pictures.

AnyDVD has a feature to do that automatically. It's under Information, click on the drive you want, click Settings, and click on Remove Annoying Adverts and Trailers. Usually when I put in a disc to play, it pops right to the menu. It even gets rid of the FBI, piracy screens.

Just right-click on the icon in your bottom tray, and go up to Show Information or go to Settings from the tray icon. Select your D: (or whatever) drive, and click on Settings.

I am not a wiz on AnyDVD, but all this does is tells the disc to go straight to the main menu when you pop the copy of the disc in. The actual files will have to be removed with other methods.
