My Dvd Reader has a problem, it cannot transmit sound properly to the tv when it is is 5.1. So, I normally use 2 channel sound which works perfectly. I'm trying to backup a dvd using Dvd Shrink, but The available sound is
5.1 english
51. spanish
2 channel director's comment
Is there any way I can backup this dvd and force the 5.1 into 2 channel for it to work in my dvd reader and television? Thank you

If you keep the AC3 5.1 and delete the rest you can still watch in 2 channel...and when you are ready for surround sound, the track is still there.

yup, 5.1 sound will be 'downmixed' to stereo on non-5.1 equipment and will play fine

Also in DVD Shrink you can select Edit -> Preference. Then select the Preview tab and change the sound to sterio, However, like Locoeng said,
