Those are rar files. You need to download WinRAR and install it. Right click the first numbered file and click extract here. Click on the word WinRAR and it'll take you to a download page.

Close BitComet and right click the first numbered rar file and click extract here. You only need to extract the first numbered file, not all of them. If there's only one rar file, then click that and click extract here.

Burn at half the max speed of the DVD. If it's a 16x disc, burn at 4x.

i was also wondering how you burn ps1 games after you download them off of bitcomet and if maxell dvd+r is good. I downloaded soul blade and it was in four different winrar archives unlike the ps2 game i downloaded.

Sony DVD-R's aren't bad. Even the ones made in Taiwan are decent. What media works/doesn't work with your PS2 has more to do with what version PS2/what kind of burner you have. The Sony DVD+R's made in Japan are Taiyo Yuden's. Use this guide to burn PSX games.

14. Q. How do I burn PS2 CD-ROM based games?
A. Use Alcohol 120%.
Ripping the game to your Hard Drive:
1. Open Alcohol 120%.
2. Insert the disk you wish to create the image from in your CD-ROM drive. Click image making wizard.
3. Set the read speed to 1x, check ignore read errors, fast skip error blocks, leave the write method alone, select your recorder, set the write speed to 4x, and set the datatype to PS2.
4. Click next.

Burning the game to CD-R:
1. Once the image is created you'll have an mdf and an mds file. Click finish if necessary.
2. Right click the mdf file and go to image burning wizard. Set the write speed to 4x, leave the write method alone, set the data type to PS2, and select your recorder, click next.

15. Q. How Do I burn PSX games?
A. Same method except set the datatype to Playstation.
