I am trying to make DVD-to-DVD copies of images created by Acronis TrueImage Using Nero 6 Burning ROM. I have not been able to consistently do this, and I can't figure out why. I've downloaded the latest updates for Nero, researched that I am using the appropriate media for both the hardware and the software (Iomega recommends using only their Hot Burn software, but it's not as stable or versatile as Nero). When users go to restore the image to a machine, Acronis says it is corrupted or it can't be read. The problem is unlikely to be Acronis, because the original DVDs work just fine. As a workaround I've been copying the entire DVD contents to my harddrive and recreating the DVD. Then I check verify the image with Acronis. This works, but it's time-consuming, tedious and leaves room for user error (mine!). Any suggestions?

16x Iomega USB DVD drive
DVD +R 8x media capacity 4.7GB
Images vary from 1 - 3 GB

using Nero, there should be an icon that says make copy of dvd.. put the original in, select that button, then when it ejects, pop in the blank, it should duplicate the dvd no problem...

I have been using the "Copy DVD" option. I've tried letting Nero determine the speed, and then only letting it copy at 8x, since the media is 8x. I'll give it another try.
