Hi...need some help with upgrading...if i want to upgrade from 1.52 to 2.0, do i just go into my psp and do the network update or would that make the thing 2.5 or sthing? help plz thnq

DO NOT use network update.
you can download EBOOT v2.00, then transfer to you psp and update it.

the network update (if you have a wifi connection) will upgrade you to 2.6
either upgrade from a umd (easiest way)
or visit http://www.psp-hacks.com for the upgrade

thx guys...xD...lucky i haven't done it yet
um btw...can someone give me sort of a guide or link on how to up from 1.52 - 2.0? thnq very much if that can be done.

I'm only 99.99% sure but if you go onto the network I think it will upgrade your psp to the newest version (you don't want this). Just to be safe go here http://www.psp-hacks.com/psp-downgrade.php and download the 2.0 version. Then downgradeit to a 1.5.

Update procedure
Notices
Before starting the update, you must do the following:
Fully charge the battery.
Connect the AC adaptor to the PSP? system and plug it into an electrical outlet.
During the update:
Do not remove the AC adaptor.
Do not turn off the system or remove the Memory Stick Duo? media.
If an update is canceled before completion, the system software may become damaged, and the system may require servicing to repair or exchange.
