can u play backed up xbox games on a chip that is designed to install games to the chips hardrive??

i have an executer chip in my xbox with an evolutionx dash ive had it for about 2 or 3 years and it works like this:
1. turn on xbox and the chips main menu comes up
2. you then goto a program on the chip called "px hdd loader"
3. insert an xbox disc into where you put the discs and wait for the xbox to read it
4. you then press "B" button on the xbox controller and the "pxhdd loader program will read the disc and ask if you would like to install the game
5. then pressing "A" will start the process of burning the game files from the disc to your chips harddrive so you are able to play the game without the disc.

anyway that is exactly what my chip does and i was wondering can you play backed up xbox game discs on a chip like this??

What dash are you using? you should have no problems playing backedup games with your chip. You should be able to install someting like slayers check out the forums on how to do this.
