Hey afterdawners! I think I have a huge prob. My PSP suffered a fracture and it has a crack all up from the bottom left corner to the "X" button... The power switch is really loose, it has no tension and I can not turn the device on. It is not the charge level, I tried plugging it in. I called Sony, and the said it will be $125.00 US to give me a new/refurbished unit, half the cost of a brand new one! So, if anyone oculd help me, that would be appreciated. I can put up pix if needed. THANKS!

dude, I think you're pretty well screwed. If the case is broke, I don't think there's much you can do to fix it. Good luck though.

You could invest in some none cracked used or new case. Buy a new psp from your best buy who take things back in any condition. Switch the psps and you'll have a brand spakin new one!
Eh Codeman before reading your personal post I came up with this idea to lol. Great minds think alike.

Codeman, like I said, I talked to the company and they said it was out of warrenty b/c of the crack in the case. The Best Buy idea will not work unless you have somebody so f'd up they don't check the s/n. But keep the ideas coming, bound to come up w/ something! Thanks guys!

Wow I am so happy my best buy is retarded. I switched ipods, psp's, ps2's. They just look to see everything is there. Just return it within 30 days, but close to the end at like the 25th day. They once have never checked the serial number unless you registered under a replacement policy then they check it.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

Lol the people at customer service are a bunch of dumb asses. One time I bought a 4gb ipod and took it out of the box and put a really old mp3 player that was the same color back in it. Then I wen't to a lady who looked like she had no idea what she was doing. She asked me do I have the reciept and then she just took a quick look in the box and closed it and I got my money back. I only got away with it once though lol.

xbox 360 premium edtion with vga/hd hook up to my dell 20.1 inch widescreen lcd.
White and black 1.5 psp's
I'll take this down WHEN micro$oft decides to stop being lazy and make the capcom fighting games backwards compatible with the 360 dammit!!!

I don't feel guilty taking stuff from companies like best buy. It's no loss to them at all.

alright dude this is what u do buy a new psp from what ever store open it very careful wile opening that box make sure that the serul num is clean and that then put ur old on in and said u didnt need it BUTG PAY IN CASH CASHHHHHHH so they cant detect you did it already with three xboxs :D
