Hi i cant burn a DvD-r and my burner says it supports dvd-/+r and rewriteable.. i heard it might be a firmware issue.,. i dont know what firmware is.. my burner is an i/o magic or something.. there website is www.iomagic.com . here is the log of my imgburn, i get the same thing with dvd decrypter.

however I would let the experts have a look before updating your firmware.
When you open DVD Decrypter can you post the burner details from that prog.

It can also be poor quality media. Or a brand of media that is not supported with your drive.

I am no expert, just a thought!

thanks.. but i fixed it... it turns out it was the firmware. If anybody else has this problem go to www.iomagic.com and find the firmware updates for their drive. thanks again people

I'm glad the firmware helped. One other thing you should do to avoid problems is switch the media your using to Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. AML is not good media and can cause you problems down the road.
