HDloader problem... Cant format HDD

So, I installed my Network adapter with a seagate HDD... it was all ok, but when HDloader prompted me to format it, it said Fatal Error: Failed to format HDD!

Pls help!

The same thing... i tried numerous times... same result. I checked the compatibility list for HDD's and my seagate model was supposedly working...

BTW, it was from my XBOX.

Help pls???

put it in your PC and FDISK it, then try to format it with the PS2 or WinHIIP.

Can I use any other progz coz FDISK is using dos and im not too familiar with it... any suggested programs?

i dont know about any other program. FDISK is very self explanatory and easy to use. you can't screw up the drive with it and if your worried about your operating system drive, just unplug it. use a floppy disk to boot to dos prompt.

you dont have to format it at all after you fdisk, the loader program will do that or while it's hooked to the PC use WinHIIP to format with the Toxic OS settings, this gives you 48 bit format.
