PS 2 Memory card corruption

I recently rented Resident Evil 4 and played about 8 hours on it only to save it and now when I tried to load it, it will not load (says that data file may be corrupt). I tried to go to the PS2 Browser to see what is on the memory card and now all the I get is a blue cube and it stops right there. I cannot even do anything with the memory card management. I cannot see the files that I have saved on there, but I have been able to load all of them on there (except for the RE4). I have had a PS2 for 4-5 years(both the old and now the slim) and this is the first time that ANYTHING like this has happened. What do I do?

The only thing you can do is delete it with the armax browser because the ps2 wont do it and theres no way u can retrieve it back

Its the ActionReplay version of the ps2 browser where you can go to your memory card and delete stuff or add
